BIOGRAPHY

David Trousdale is the Principal Advisor for Climate Change and Net Zero at Newcastle City Council, responsible for delivering the city’s Net Zero 2030 action plan. His role includes leading sustainable transport initiatives and coordinating the rollout of EV charge points across Newcastle.

David specialises in EV charging demand analysis and has recently completed a book for the Institution of Engineering and Technology on the end-to-end deployment of charging infrastructure, supporting data-driven strategies for a cleaner, electrified urban future.
