BIOGRAPHY

David Trousdale is the Principal Advisor for Climate Change and Net Zero at Newcastle City Council, where he leads the city’s Net Zero 2030 action plan. A key part of his role involves working with transport teams to deliver a citywide rollout of EV charge points.

David is a specialist in EV charging demand analysis and is currently authoring a book for the Institution of Engineering and Technology on the end-to-end deployment of charging infrastructure. His work helps shape sustainable, data-driven approaches to urban electrification.
