BIOGRAPHY

Chris Ashley is the Head of Policy for Environment and Vehicles at the Road Haulage Association. Since 2019, he has led the RHA’s environmental strategy, focusing on Net Zero outcomes that support sustainable transport and small business operators across the UK.

Chris previously spent 18 years as a Civil Servant, developing national policy on drug addiction and domestic abuse. With a family background in haulage, he offers deep insight into how government, local authorities, and Parliament shape the road transport sector.
